Public Campaign Listings For Ongoing D&D Groups
Public Wyrlds are persistent campaign spaces that an owner has chosen to list in the directory.
- Players can browse listed campaigns by title and read each campaign summary.
- Listings show join mode and capacity so you know whether requests are open.
- Each listing can feature one onboarding record chosen by the owner.
- Once a group is accepted, the Wyrld keeps records, tables, assets, and shared context together between sessions.
How The Request-To-Join Flow Works
Joining is always controlled by the Wyrld owner.
- Request to Join: send a request, then wait for approval.
- Invite Only: the owner is not accepting public requests.
- If you are not logged in, you can still browse but must log in to request access.
Campaign Onboarding With Featured Records
Featured records are meant to explain campaign tone, expectations, and onboarding details before a player requests access.
- Click the featured record title in a listing to open it.
- This is the owner-selected public entry point for that Wyrld.
Privacy And Access
Public listing does not make the entire Wyrld open.
- Only the selected featured record is viewable for public discovery.
- Other Wyrld content still requires proper membership permissions.
- Owners and managers remain in control of tables, records, and membership.
Visibility Rules
- Any Wyrld can be listed in the public directory if the owner enables listing.
- Pro Wyrlds are labeled with a Pro tag in directory listings.
- Public discovery pages are visible to guests and logged-in users.
- Joining is never automatic: request mode still requires owner approval, and invite-only requires a direct invite.
- The featured record is the only public content entry from a listed Wyrld unless you become a member.
