Creating Sheets

Create from Dashboard using New Sheet.
You can also create while targeting a Wyrld, which links the sheet during creation.
After creation, you are redirected to the live sheet editor.

Access Model

Owner: full access to all sheet content and settings.
Invite members: can be linked via invite URL and then access the sheet.
Wyrld editors/managers: can edit linked sheets when the sheet is connected to that Wyrld.
If a user has no valid owner/invite/Wyrld access path, sheet access is denied.

Main Sheet Views

General: core stats, classes, saves, skills, attacks, equipment, feats, resources.
Background: personality and narrative fields.
Spells: spell list plus slot tracking and spellcasting stats.
Settings: invite link, access revocation, Wyrld links, export, duplicate, delete.

Magic Numbers and Calculations

In Attacks and Spellcasting, ATK Bonus supports magic keywords: str, dex, con, int, wis, cha, and pro.
You can type expressions like dex+pro and the UI calculates the current numeric result.
Calculated values stay linked to your stats; if ability modifiers or proficiency change, magic expressions update.
This keeps attack bonuses accurate as character stats evolve.

5E SRD Autofill

Spells: title suggestions use 5E SRD spell data and can auto-fill casting time, duration, range, components, damage type, and description.
Equipment: suggestions use 5E SRD equipment + magic item data.
Selecting an item can auto-fill fields and attach detailed description data, including SRD reference links when available.
This reduces manual entry and helps keep naming/details consistent with SRD content.

Auto-Save Behavior

Most fields save on blur/input events without manual save buttons.
Sheet edits are sent as operation patches against the sheet data model.
Array sections (attacks, spells, classes, feats, etc.) are handled through insert/update/remove operations.
The UI retries key sheet loads and shows fallback actions when load fails.

Wyrld Connections

Owners can connect a sheet to Wyrlds from Settings.
If you own the sheet, you only need to be a Wyrld member to connect it.
For non-owner operations, Wyrld editor permissions are required.
Free Wyrlds have a character-link cap; Pro Wyrld expands that capacity.

Export and Duplication

Export to PDF for printable/reference output.
Duplicate creates a new sheet with copied character content.

Ownership Controls

Only owners can manage invite links, Wyrld links, and deletion.
Non-owners see a simplified Settings view focused on export and disconnect.
Disconnect removes that user’s link to the sheet without affecting owner data.
