Setup Checklist
- Go to Wyrld Settings and open the Public Discovery card.
- Write a strong wyrld description that explains the campaign at a glance.
- Select a featured record with onboarding details and expectations.
- Choose join mode and capacity that match your bandwidth as DM.
Public Discovery Settings
The settings card controls how your wyrld appears and how players can access it.
- List this wyrld publicly: toggles directory visibility.
- Join Mode: choose Request to Join or Invite Only.
- Capacity: optional limit on total members.
- Featured Record: one selected record is exposed for discovery viewing.
Featured Record Strategy
Treat the featured record like a campaign landing page.
- Explain tone, system, session cadence, and required tools.
- State table expectations and communication norms clearly.
- Include onboarding steps so interested players know how to join.
- Keep details up to date as your campaign evolves.
Visibility Rules You Should Know
- Public listing is Pro-only and is controlled from Wyrld Settings by the owner.
- Listing your Wyrld does not expose all records or tables to the public.
- Only the selected featured record is exposed for discovery viewing.
- Guests can browse the directory, but they must log in before they can request to join.
Share the Wyrld Permissions Guide with players to set expectations.
Join Requests Workflow
- When in request mode, review incoming requests in the Join Requests card.
- Approve good fits, reject mismatches, and keep your roster aligned to campaign goals.
- Capacity limits are enforced when approving requests.
- Members can leave from their own settings panel, freeing slots automatically.
Best Practices
- Start with request mode and no/soft capacity while you test demand.
- Use invite-only for private campaigns that should not accept new requests.
- Revisit your description and featured record between arcs or seasons.
- If you want more visibility, share your directory link directly with your community.
